An award-winning television reporter for nearly 20 years, Olga changed careers after the birth of her second child, due to a lack of flexible work options. She set up her own small communications company, working with freelance journalists, most of whom are also mothers with small children. Based on her own and her team members’ journeys as working mothers, she saw a need for a community where women can share their own stories and challenges, find inspiring examples and expert advice. In 2018 she set up an online magazine called Női váltó (“Women in change”).
Through personal stories of real-life everyday women, Női váltó helps women find the courage and inspiration to make a change if the current limitations in their lives and careers no longer serve them. Olga also regularly speaks at events and in media about female empowerment and organises various in-person events for the Női Váltó community where women can connect and find support. She has recently set up a foundation to further strengthen and expand the activities and impact of Női Váltó.
