Since 2012 Nancy Thomas is leading IMS Luxembourg – Inspiring More Sustainability, the leading network of Luxembourg companies involved in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). (representing around 25% of the national workforce). IMS explores new solutions and concretely tests sustainable alternatives, through working groups and pilot projects with positive impacts. Through these projects, IMS facilitates innovative initiatives by mobilizing all stakeholders (private, public and associative).

IMS projects tackled three issues: People (inclusion & diversity, happiness at work, community engagement, youth, business & human rights), Planet (climate change, biodiversity, towards zero waste) and Prosperity (responsible production & consumption, new economic approach, social business, transparency & reporting). IMS is an independent, apolitical, non-profit organization that benefits from the expertise of an agile and creative team.
She was at the helm of several projects at the national level (the Diversity Charter Lëtzebuerg, The Third Industrial Revolution with Jeremy Rifkin).

With a Master’s degree in Communication from ISCOM Paris, Nancy has been involved in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy development for the past 20 years. She worked with IMS-Entreprendre pour la Cité in France, where she focused on social entrepreneurship and integration into the workplace. During 5 years, she was Head of Communication at Envie Federation – a French national network of non-profit organisations that help people who have experienced long-term unemployment to reuse and recycle waste electrical and electronic equipments. She also ran her own firm, conducting consulting activities in communication and CSR.

She is member of the Luxembourg High Council for Sustainable Development and Vice President of the advisory commission for Social Economy Entreprise at the Luxembourg Ministry of Labour. In 2019, she was a member of the Board of Directors of CSR Europe – the European business network for Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility- for a three-year term.
