Social Worker by profession and Social Entrepreneur at heart. Nancy Martins has worked for over 15 years as Technical Director of several Social Institutions. Mentor of social projects by IES – Institute of Social Entrepreneurship SBS
and social innovation consultant.
Founder of the project Semear Afetos, funded by Portugal Inovação Social – Parceriaspara o Impacto, which is currently
expanded with the support of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. In 2022, as part of the celebrations of the National Day of Social Security, she was distinguished for merit by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.
Also in 2022 she won the Maria José Nogueira Pinto Award with the Integrar+ project, which promotes the employability of vulnerable families in situations of unemployment.
She is a mother of 3 daughters who are the light of her eyes and enjoys traveling.
She believes that the best way to change the world is to change one life at a time.
