Laura is an enterprising woman, with experience in market analysis and a master’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biology. In addition, she is the founder of Redpanti, a project that seeks to promote the use of reusable products for periods.
Redpanti is a company that seeks to better inform and help people with periods to make more sustainable choices: choices which are better for the users and better for the environment. Currently there is a great need for advice and better alternatives to throw-away period products. On the flip side, there is a lack of easily accesible choice and of transparency on re-useable products.
At Redpanti we care about the health & confort of our users first. Re-useable period products are superior on every dimension, from comfort & performance to value to the user, providing long-term monetary savings from the reduced use of single-use products. At Redpanti we also care about the environment. We are reducing un-sustainable consumption and the generation of vast amounts of “period rubbish” which is up to 90% non-degradable plastics in single-use products. These plastics can persist in the environment for up to 1000 years. Conversely our re-useable alternatives each last a minimum of 2-10 years.
We are partnering with top manufacturers and brands that align with our goals in producing best-in-class re-usuable period products, such as menstrual cups, menstrual underwear and washable sanitary pads. Our partners work in an ethical and transparent way, ensuring top quality of products and adhering to manufacturing standards that guarantee both a process and final product free of toxins.
