Dr. Katrin Schuhen is the inventor, founder, and CEO of Wasser 3.0, a non-profit company from Germany. After completing her PhD in Chemistry, she worked in the medical and polymer industry. Between 2012 and 2018 she was a junior professor for Organic and Ecological Chemistry, where she began researching and developing application-based and sustainable solutions for the detection, removal, and reuse of microplastics and micropollutants from waters.
