The Social Entrepreneurship Network in Austria (SENA) is an “advocacy group for entrepreneurship with a positive social impact”.

SENA is a young organisation, founded at the end of 2018 by seven well-established Austrian social entrepreneurs. It was started as a network for Austrian social entrepreneurs as well as an interest-representative organisation for the topic of social entrepreneurship. These seven members are still – to some extent – part of the board.

SENA seeks to act as a point of contact (POC) and a home for social entrepreneurs, raise visibility of social entrepreneurship at the local, regional, and national levels and break down the barriers for social entrepreneurs to thrive and scale their impact. Moreover, SENA is involved in proving entrepreneurs’ access to finance and disseminating information about social entrepreneurship in mainstream society.
