About the project

The European project R.E.S.E.T. (Relaunching Employment with Social Economy in the Territories) aims to enable partners to exchange on the added value of the social economy model to create sustainable, non-relocatable and socially useful jobs in the territories. It did so by setting up a network of EU regional and local authorities to exchange best practices on how to use the social economy model to save jobs in their territories: how to create them, preserve them, and transform them while also taking care of vulnerable groups.

The activities of this action are targeted at all stakeholders involved in creation, preservation and transformation of positive social impact jobs. They indirectly contribute to the labour market integration of unemployed people and people with a distant to the labour market such as differently-abled, NEETs, and others.

What is next?

The network organised three social economy mission workshops, each lasting two days in the timeframe April and October 2021, in Montpellier, Valencia and Bologna. The workshops focused on support, finance and training for social economy enterprises. The agenda includes collective reflection, testimonies and field visits. Following the three workshops, the network collected 15 good practices on local measures support social economy enterprises.

R.E.S.E.T. is part of the European Commission’s call for projects «Social Economy Missions» in 2020. The project is funded by the EU programme for the Competitiveness of Enterprises and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises COSME which aims to support networking and exchange of experience between local authorities in the field of social economy.
