On Wednesday 15 January 2026, Euclid Network successfully hosted its Erasmus+ 2026 Pitch & Match Session, bringing together a highly engaged mix of members and external organisations to explore collaboration opportunities for the upcoming Erasmus+ calls.
Strong interest and broad reach
The session attracted over 65 registrations, with approximately 15-20 Euclid Network members and a strong turnout from external networks, universities, intermediaries, and delivery organisations across Europe and beyond. In total, over 50 organisations completed the pre-session survey, providing a solid foundation for targeted matchmaking and meaningful exchanges during the session.
A diverse and well-prepared participant base
Participants represented a wide spectrum of Erasmus+ experience levels, thematic expertise, and geographic coverage. Interest was strongest around KA2 Cooperation Partnerships, followed by KA3 Policy & Innovation and KA210 Small-Scale Partnerships, confirming the relevance of the session design and breakout structure

Feedback during the session confirmed that participants valued the structured but informal format, which prioritised connection and collaboration over polished proposals or generic presentations on 2026 Erasmus+ work programme.
Looking ahead
This session marked the starting point, not the finish line. The real impact now lies in the follow-up conversations, partnership building, and proposal development that will take place in the coming weeks. Euclid Network will continue to support our Members – via the EU Funding Helpdesk line – by facilitating connections, sharing insights from the survey data, and helping emerging consortia move from ideas to strong Erasmus+ 2026 applications.
What’s next: upcoming matchmaking opportunities
Building on the strong engagement and momentum from the Erasmus+ 2026 Pitch & Match Session, we are now moving into the next phase of EU funding collaboration related to Horizon Europe 2026.
On 12 February 2026, we will host a member-only Horizon Europe session, focusing on upcoming 2026 calls, strategic positioning, and where members can best plug into emerging opportunities. This will be followed by a new EU Pitch & Match session on 19 February 2026, creating space for fresh and evolving project ideas across Horizon Europe and other EU programmes, and for connecting coordinators with delivery, research, and specialist partners.
