The DiGi-SEII partnership convened in Stockholm for its first in-person meeting, marking an important milestone in the project’s development. All partners were present, with the exception of Petro, who actively participated online and contributed throughout the sessions. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen collaboration, align on key project components, and prepare for the upcoming implementation phase.
Structuring the Capacity Building Packages
A central focus of the discussions was the structure of the capacity building packages for Social Economy Support Organizations (SESOs) and Social Enterprises (SEs). Partners examined how e-learning modules, face-to-face training, online training, and complementary service activities will be combined to form comprehensive offers. Tailored packages are being developed for SESOs and SEs, with financial support available to facilitate participation.
Refining SE Training Content
In Belgium, France, Greece, Sweden, and Ukraine, partners piloted the training content with groups of 10 social enterprises each. Building on these pilot experiences, the consortium reflected collectively on the materials and identified areas for refinement. A revised version of the SE training content is currently being drafted, with the aim of using it in the first round of local SE trainings.
Advancing SESO Training Content
The partnership also reviewed the SESO training materials, approaching them from the perspective of SESOs themselves. This peer-based reflection generated valuable feedback, leading to the development of a new version of the SESO training content, which will be finalized ahead of the first training sessions in Paris.
Preparing for Implementation
The meeting concluded with agreement on the next steps. The consortium is working towards the 1st of November deadline to ensure that all preparations are completed. This timeline will enable the launch of the first trainings in early 2026, marking the start of the implementation phase.
The Stockholm meeting demonstrated strong collaboration among partners and resulted in clear progress on both SE and SESO training content. With the next phase approaching, the consortium is well-positioned to deliver impactful capacity building that will strengthen the social economy ecosystem across Europe.
