Last week, Euclid Network (EN) hosted the second session of its Driving Positive Change (DPC) Series: Capacity Building to Scale Impact 2024-2025. This subseries is designed to empower Social Enterprise Support Organisations (SESOs) with the tools and strategies they need to amplify their impact. The DPC series, which originated during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, has evolved into a vital platform for EN members to connect, learn, and grow together.
This second session – titled Enhancing Member Engagement & Visibility Workshop – tackled two essential priorities for organisations: deepening member relationships and increasing visibility. This session was specifically designed in response to feedback from EN’s Annual Membership Consultation, reflecting the network’s commitment to addressing its members’ key needs.
The workshop opened with a warm welcome from moderator Inês Macieira – EN’s Communication and Member Engagement Officer, who set the tone for a highly interactive and collaborative session. Speakers Regita Zeiļa and Līva Švarce – Project Manager and CEO at Social Entrepreneurship Association of Latvia, shared their expertise, drawing on their experiences to highlight practical strategies for fostering meaningful engagement. Their insights provided participants with tangible examples of how member engagement can be a driving force for success.
To initiate dialogue, attendees participated in an ice-breaker discussion centered on the core questions, What is member engagement? and Why is it important for your organisation? This conversation sparked valuable reflections, encouraging participants to share diverse perspectives and insights.
The heart of the session explored the journey of member engagement. Participants reflected on the defining moments and milestones in their own strategies, discussing the forces that shaped these efforts and the challenges they encountered along the way. The open dialogue allowed for an honest exchange of experiences and solutions, creating a rich learning environment for everyone involved.
An engaging Q&A session added another layer of depth to the workshop, this interactive segment encouraged a free flow of ideas and provided additional clarity on the topics discussed.
By the session’s conclusion, participants left equipped with fresh insights and actionable strategies. They gained new approaches to fostering stronger connections within their networks and learned practical ways to enhance their organisation’s visibility. The session also fostered meaningful connections among attendees, reinforcing the importance of peer-to-peer learning and collaboration.
Workshops like this are critical in today’s fast-changing world, where engagement and visibility are key to scaling impact. The Enhancing Member Engagement & Visibility Workshop exemplified EN’s commitment to supporting its members through tailored, high-quality learning experiences. By creating these spaces for dialogue and knowledge-sharing, EN continues to empower its network to thrive.
Looking ahead, the DPC Series: Capacity Building to Scale Impact will offer more opportunities for members to build their skills and share their expertise. Session resources and a recording of this workshop will soon be available in the EN member portal for those who wish to revisit the material.
The journey of driving positive change continues. Stay tuned for the next session in this impactful series and join EN members in learning, connecting, and creating meaningful change together.
