As part of the Driving Positive Change Series, Euclid Network are delighted to be hosting a webinar to mark the re-launch of PeerEx.

PeerEx is an initiative aimed at fostering cross-border collaboration and knowledge exchange among social enterprise support organisations.

PeerEx offers a unique opportunity for our members to engage in meaningful projects, develop partnerships, and enhance their support for social enterprises across borders.  At its core, PeerEx aims to facilitate collaboration among Euclid members, enabling you to exchange knowledge, ideas, and experiences.

On 04 June at 14.00 CET three past participants –Regita Zeijla, Marija Mazic and Jorien van Lookeren will be presenting their thoughts and experiences of taking part in PeerEx 2022.

Regita Zeijla from Social Entrepreneurship Association of Latvia

Regita has been actively engaged in the field of social economy since 2017. Since 2020, Regita has held the prestigious position of the Director at the Social Entrepreneurship association of Latvia, the foremost organization dedicated to fostering and expanding the social entrepreneurship ecosystem in Latvia.

The Social Entrepreneurship Association of Latvia (SEAL) is a membership organisation in Riga, Latvia to promote the development of social entrepreneurship in the country. SEAL brings together like-minded organisations, companies, and people who believe that social entrepreneurship in Latvia has huge potential and who are ready to participate in the development and strengthening of the sector. SEAL is the biggest national-level organisation regarding social entrepreneurship in Latvia, serves both as an advocacy body, knowledge-sharing platform, and one-stop agency about social entrepreneurship-related topics.

 

Marija Mazic from Reach for Change

Marija is a seasoned professional with a strong background in leading organizational development initiatives across diverse sectors. With extensive experience in project management, instructional design, and strategic planning,  Her expertise lie in mentoring teams, enhancing processes, and forging strategic partnerships to achieve organizational objectives. Marija is passionate about continuous improvement and is dedicated to empowering individuals and organizations to reach their full potential.

Reach for Change (RfC) is an international non-profit organisation with the mission to unleash the power of innovation and entrepreneurship to create a better world for children and youth. Since their founding, RfC have supported more than 1,000 social entrepreneurs in 18 countries across 3 continents and impacted the lives of more than 4 million children and youth. Their vision is to create a world where all children reach their full potential. Through local teams and locally-executed programmes they are able to secure critical local knowledge for them, whilst global governance and functional teams working across the organisation ensure they capture learnings, drive continuous iteration of our program and develop our pipeline of Social Entrepreneurs.

 

Jorien van Lookeren from Social Enterprise Netherlands

Jorien is the policy lead of Social Enterprise NL. In her work, she focuses on improving the cooperation between social enterprises and the government on a local, regional, national and international level. SE’s and governements definitely find each other in terms of goals and mission, but at the same time sometimes don’t understand each other since the dynamics can be so different.

Social Enterprise NL, was founded in 2012, as the national membership organisation for social enterprises in the Netherlands. Social Enterprise NL represents, connects and supports the growing community of social enterprises in The Netherlands and beyond. Today, SENL provides business support to its 350+ members and improves market conditions for social enterprises by lobbying the government.
