In NEWS, What's New on Policy & Advocacy

The Transition Pathway for the Proximity and Social Economy was developed through an extensive co-creation process with the ecosystem. The Commission has now asked for pledges from stakeholders so that the vision of the Transition Pathway can now be co-implemented.

EN is proud to have been involved in the development of the Transition Pathway alongside peer networks and to be taking an active role in its implementation. EN will take measures to support the twin transition of the ecosystem as well as addressing our own practices as an organisation.

EN has therefore made four pledges to cover these two areas:

  • More resources on green and digital on the Knowledge Centre
  • Supporting members in accessing funding relating to greening and digitalising
  • Introducing a green travel policy and budgeting for greener travel in projects
  • Reviewing the digital skills gaps of staff and closing them
